Mallory and Thomas!

Hooray Engagement! I was recently blessed to be able to shoot the engagement photos for a couple that I have become friends with in college. They are such a sweet couple and the blessing of love that God has given them for each other is evident within 5seconds of being with them. Mallory and Thomas were so much fun to shoot! Here are a few from their session:

Some from the shoot at R Ranch.

here are a few shots from the recent R. Ranch shoot. A brother and sister were the main subjects, but one of the sister's friends decided to tag along too; the way I see it... the more the merrier! I had a lot of fun shooting these, they were so charming!

This is little baby Josie. She was my first babysitting experience ever... and it happened on Friday.

I took this picture when she knew me for no longer than 30 minutes.... but look at the love in her eyes!
I think we can all take a lesson in love from children... they love people simply for just being there, showing them something shiny, or paying attention to them.

Happy Valentines day!

This bicycle seemed forgotten at the time... notice the flat tires and the leaves that rest on the front tire (signifying that it hadn't been moved in a while). But it's position outside of a cafe tells me it isn't forgotten, it has a purpose... I think to remind people that leisure doesn't have to be complicated or expensive... sometimes the simplest leisures are the best- and can take you the farthest away.

This picture was taken at this year's Gold Rush festival. I think it generally sums up the entirety of the weekend...lots of things that are too big and too rich for us to stomache but we get them and enjoy them anyway! Like the little girl with the hot dog bigger than her face :).
She caught me snapping a photo of her though, but I think the expression adds something..

A few more...

This picture of an old woman was taken outside of St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC
While in NYC there were Santa's EVERYWHERE! Here I caught a few crossing the street.

St. Patrick's.

This horse belongs to a friend of mine. I was asked to take pictures of her for a christmas gift.
