I need some help...

With the weekend coming upon us, I'm once again getting that ants-in-my-pants (yes i'm in 3rd grade) feeling that makes me want to dive into a Lowe's and go crazy with improving and decorating our house. We have done quite a bit of work since we moved in, and because our house is so old and cute... I'm not sure there will ever be a time when we say 'there's nothing left to do'. Most of our improvements thus far have just been painting (painting over the 345 coats of paint that were already on the walls...and were disgusting)...and I think we are ready to dive into some more major adjustments. However I'm not really sure what to do!

Any ideas for what we could do with this room? This is our living room... the first pictures (with the green) are the before shots, and then the after shots. Our walls are kind of bare, and we have an awkward corner for the TV that we don't quite know what to do with. What do you guys think? Every idea will be considered...and next week I may just have a new house :)

  1. What about a picture wall? Different sizes, frames that coordinate? :)

  5. What a cute home! I'm dreaming of the day we buy our first place and can do some fixing up! As for your little TV nook, I would just put a small console against wall with the rounded doorway with the tv on top and a piece of art or a mirror hung above it. Though it might interfere with that sconce...hmmm... Let us know what you come up with! So curious... XO Katie
